The programme encompasses medical, surgical and diagnostic aspects of clinical hepatology, considering both adult and pediatric patients. The organizing committee comprises members from various departments; adult and pediatric hepatology, transplant and hepatobiliary surgery, anesthesiology and infectious diseases, all at Karolinska University Hospital. The official language is English, with invited international and national experts as speakers. A parallel programme is arranged by and for nurses in Swedish.

Liver Academy at Karolinska Institute, Basic Science workshop
Friday February 9th, 2018 at 12:45-16:30 including lunch
The Liver Academy at Karolinska Institute will hold their annual work shop meeting in conjunction with the Stockholm Liver Week. The workshop will introduce the Liver Academy at Karolinska Institute and professor Stephen Strom will chair the first session on Hepatology Research at other Swedish Universities.
The second session will be Basic science presentations selected from submitted abstracts.
Please submit your basic science abstract for an oral presentation to email@example.com no later than December 15th, 2017. Abstracts should contain maximum 300 words. Accepted abstracts will be notified January 12th, 2018.
